"I don't know," Rika admitted. "The things she was forced to do aren't the sort that you're supposed to make a little girl take on. She won't ever just forget them, and I'm not even sure that she'll ever really forgive herself for some of them."
She smiled a sad little smile. "It's one reason I'm glad she's found Fandom. A chance for a clean break, in case she can't ever really come back."
