The Great Wall, Tuesday Night

"This is such a good idea," Ringo declared happily as she stared up from the base of the wall. It was dark out, enough so that there was almost no one still around since there was so little to actually see.

For the record, it probably wasn't a good idea.

She beamed as she glanced over at her partner in late night adventures. "You ready for this?"

[ooc: For one. And let's just pretend this actually went up ON Tuesday.]

If Alluka were the kind of good girl who followed proper bedtime hours, it would be way, way past her normal bedtime.

But Alluka had never really kept to normal hours anyway, even though she was usually a good girl.

She giggled, shifting a little. "I'm ready, I'm ready," she insisted. "I can do this."

It was totally a terrible idea.

"Want to start by just going straight to the top from here?" The surface of the wall was uneven, providing plenty of challenge. Ringo could barely contain her excitement at tackling it.

Ringo's excitement was infectious--and much more compelling than any reservations Alluka might've had about her ability to get up the wall.

"I think that makes the most sense," she said, looking up.

Ringo was tempted to challenge Alluka to a race, but thought better of it. "Then I'll see you up there!" she exclaimed, rolling a few meters back from the wall and then taking off at full-throttle toward it.

A quick flip moved her from horizontal to vertical, and she was twisting and spinning her way up the uneven surface less than a second later.

There wasn't a ton of light to watch her by, but the giggling and whooping made it trivial to tell when she made it to the top.
